About Celebrancy
What is a celebrant?
A celebrant creates and leads personalised ceremonies for life's important moments - weddings, funerals, vow renewals, and naming ceremonies. Unlike registrars (who follow set scripts) or clergy (who conduct religious services), celebrants create bespoke ceremonies tailored to you.

About Me
What's your background?
I spent 40 years in children’s social care and have a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of adoption and fostering. I'm now trained through the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and specialise in funerals, with weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies coming in 2026.

Vow Renewals
Do we need a reason to renew our vows?

Can we write new vows or use our original ones?
Naming Ceremonies
What's the difference between a naming ceremony and a christening?
A christening is a religious ceremony that welcomes a child into the Christian faith. A naming ceremony is non-religious (though you can include spiritual elements if you wish) and simply welcomes a child into your family and community.

The Process
How do we book you?
Get in touch via phone, email, or the contact form. We'll arrange an initial chat (no obligation) to see if we're a good fit. If you'd like to proceed, I'll send you a booking form and invoice for the deposit.
